As expected, the third and latest DLC for Remnant 2 adds a good number of weapons that help refine your build. The Dark Horizon DLC brings variety to the guns in Remnant 2, which players can add to their arsenal. One such weapon is the Redeemer handgun. However, getting your hands on this is not the easiest thing in the world. Which is why we have put up this guide for you that covers everything important for unlocking the Redeemer handgun in Remnant 2.

How To Get The Redeemer Handgun In Remnant 2
To obtain the Redeemer Handgun in Remnant 2, buy all purchasable items from Spark in The Dark Horizon DLC.
To start your journey toward obtaining the Redeemer handgun, find and assist Spark. Spark is a key NPC that becomes available after you start exploring the Dark Horizon DLC. Once you’ve completed the quest, he’ll offer you the Redeemer handgun.
Locating Spark In Remnant 2
Spark can be found at various points throughout the world in Dark Horizon. These locations are random but fixed. He will always spawn in certain areas but may appear in different places for each playthrough.
You can find him in the following places of The Dark Horizon:
- Close to the stairs beneath the Glider, near where the Gardener stands by the Waylaid Conservatory World Stone.
- In the hallway across from the room where you get the Nanoplated Armor Set.
- In the clearing ahead of the locked door, near the location of the Nanoplated Armor Set.
Finishing Spark’s Quest
After you find Spark, talk to him and agree to defeat ‘the voice.’ It is the final boss of The Dark Horizon DLC — Alepsis-Taura.
After defeating the main boss of the DLC, find Spark in any of the spawn locations. When you find Spark, talk to him and let him know that you defeated ‘the voice.’ Ensure all dialogue options are exhausted.
Now, head back to Ward 13 via a World Stone. You’ll find Spark as a new vendor across from the firing range. Talk to him, and you’ll get the Alloy Extractor item.
You can use this item to collect different Alloys from enemies across various biomes. These are important for crafting gear and unlocking the Redeemer handgun.
Collecting Alloys
The next step in unlocking the Redeemer handgun is gathering alloys by defeating enemies in different worlds. These alloys appear on your minimap as small round purple icons, so they are relatively easy to track.
Enemies in different worlds drop various Alloys. You can obtain them by re-rolling your Adventure to travel to these locations:
- N’Erud: Alien Alloy
- Yaesha: Ancient Alloy
- Losomn: Mythril Alloy
Besides collecting alloys, you have to defeat certain bosses and solve puzzles in each of the game’s DLCs.
Purchasing Items from Spark
You also have to buy all the Rings and Amulets Spark offers. These items will unlock as you progress through her questline, so make sure you purchase each one she offers.
