After making PC players battle their way through Aeternum since 2021, Amazon Games has finally decided to share the game with console players. But, what is the best way to celebrate this? Throw everyone into the new 10-player raid, The Hive of Gorgons. In this guide, we will explain every bit of the Hive of Gorgons Raid in New World Aeternum known to us.
What Is The Hive of Gorgons Raid In New World Aeternum?
The Hive of Gorgons raid in New World Aeternum is a 10-player PvE raid. The Hive of Gorgons is composed of three chapters, and there will be different sections of enemies, puzzles, and three epic bosses, which, of course, you will have to fight. The first boss is Echidna, the second boss is Typhon, and the third boss is Brood Mother Medusa.
After defeating Medusa in New Olympus, players will get to know about a new threat. The Gorgons are preparing an army of the Hercyne and to stop them, you will have to assemble a team of powerful players, enter their hive, and fight your way solving puzzles and then defeating these bosses.
The developers have also increased the maximum gear score to 725 and added new perks for weapons, armor, and accessories that you can unlock.
Where Will The Hive Of Gorgons Raid Take Place?
The hive of the Gorgons is located in the southern part of the Cutlass Keys. The Hive of Gorgons Raid is an end-game battle, and you will need the 10 best players. However, you can also start this battle even with 6 players. You can either enter the raid via entrance or by using the group finder function.
Enemy Types & Preparation
The enemies within the Hive of the Gorgon are part of the Angry Earth faction, and are weak to fire and slash attacks. Make sure to bring gears and consumables accordingly when dealing with these types of enemies in the dungeon.
