The Dark Horizon is the final DLC to Remnant 2, and like with the base game and the earlier DLCs, this one has a new class, several dungeons, tough boss fights and new items that add a lot to your build. The new Mucid Terrarium dungeon is one such addition that has several challenging enemies and some great rewards to make it feel all worth it. In this guide, we have covered all that the Mucid Terrarium dungeon has to offer including hidden locations, tips to beat the final boss and collecting some fantastic loot.
Mucid Terrarium Dungeon Location In Remnant 2
The Mucid Terrarium dungeon is part of the Dark Horizon DLC and is not always easy to find. Rolling the adventure mode might not always give you access to it, but by using the one-shot method, you guarantee the dungeon will be available.
To visit Mucid Terrrarium, make your way to the Gardener in the Withered Necropolis landing zone. From the World Stone there, head west until you come across a Glider bot. After taking flight, continue west till you find a landing zone. Use the stream of hot air to go higher.
Once you catch the updraft, turn east and glide down to the platform below. From there, follow the path until you reach the Dilapidated Auditorium World Stone. After passing the first section, you’ll soon come across a large dungeon door that marks the entrance to the Mucid Terrarium.
Opening The Secret Location
To start your journey through the Mucid Terrarium, you have to find a secret locked door. Don’t worry about hunting for a key—all you need to have is a shock weapon like Enigma to open it.
Near the door, you’ll notice a broken blue cable on the ground. Shoot it, and the door will open.
As you move forward, keep an eye out for enemies. You may also need to deal with some powerful elites blocking your path. Watch for other blue-glowing cables and shoot them to unlock the other doors within the dungeon.
Find The Combat Shield Generator Ring
The second door contains the Combat Shield Generator ring, which is great if you like to engage in combat while staying on the move. The ring grants a shield with 300 health that lasts for 10 seconds and blocks enemy projectiles.
Once the shield is up, you get a defensive boost. However, this ability has a 10-second cooldown, so you need to be careful.
This ring can be part of a fun build if you enjoy playing with Shields, but it does require a specific playstyle to maximize its potential. Sliding into cover, popping the shield, and returning fire behind its protection can be quite effective with the right setup.

Get the Short Circuit Amulet
After you enter through the third door, you’ll find the Short Circuit amulet. This is ideal for those who love focusing on critical damage and fast cooldowns.
While a shield is active, the Short Circuit amulet boosts your crit chance and crit damage by 10%. It also reduces skill cooldowns by 6% every 5 seconds. This makes it a perfect item for Warden players who consistently generate shields.
Defeat The Two Bosses
When you enter the Boss Room, it’ll trigger a cutscene showing an overcharged Amalgam emerging from the N’erudian goo. This boss fight is a two-part battle. While it might sound hard, it’s manageable, especially in lower-difficulty settings.
After dealing enough damage, Kel’Roth will hide inside the goo. At that point, a new boss Amalgam Relis will appear. Kel’Roth will rejoin the battle after a while, which means you have to be prepared to fight both bosses simultaneously.
Tip: The key to winning this battle is to take down Kel’Roth quickly. Dodge both bosses and move to the opposite side. Then unleash all your arsenal on Kel’Roth. Once it’s defeated, you can focus on defeating Relis.
Get The Void Light Core
Upon defeating both bosses, you’ll receive a crafting item called the Voidlight Core. This can be taken to McCabe in Ward 13 to forge a new Mod.
The Voidlight weapon mod fires a projectile that creates a dormant Voidlight, lasting for 10 seconds. When the timer ends, the Voidlight explodes, releasing up to five homing projectiles that target enemies within 15 meters. This mod can be extremely useful in boss fights where you’re taking heavy ranged attacks.
