Farming Simulator 25 treats you like a digital farmer and gives you all the freedom in farming. While it is a pretty involving effort in terms of planning crops from a variety of options; you can make your output – the field – that much better by learning to plow the field perfectly in Farming Simulator 25. And that is exactly what we have covered in detail in this guide. So let’s get started!
How To Plow The Perfect Field In Farming Simulator 25
The first step is to create an aesthetically pleasing field, before learning how to plow that field perfectly. An aesthetically pleasing field looks not just neat and clean, but also helps the AI workers in recognizing the path better and performing tasks more efficiently. You can do this by:
- Line your tractor and plow at the base/entrance of the field that you want to plow perfectly.
- Open your AI Settings.
- Map out your field lines in Steering Assist’.
- We suggest you set the ‘Number of Headlands’ option to either 3 or 4, this will make the layout look much neater. You can select just one headland if you want a rectangular field with a single border-like effect.
- Make your way onto your field. Do not begin with plowing the headlands, this may cause you to destroy some of the furrows created.
- Start with a line right next to your inner headland. Lower your equipment and start plowing.
- Follow the lines set on your field by using ‘Steering Assist’ through AI.
- Once you reach the row end lift up the plow, it is important to remember to turn your plow (rotate) along with your tractor.
- Once you are back on the field row, lower your plow and start plowing.
- This will make sure your furrows stay intact and are not damaged.
- We recommend you complete the entirety of the field core (inside the headlands) this way.
- It is very important to rotate your plow with the tractor while turning, if you do not then your furrows will end up getting damaged.
- Once you have completed the inner field core, start with an edge corner of the headland.
- Remember to go from the inner headland to the outer.
- Complete the plowing for the number of headlands you have selected.
- It is crucial to note that, while plowing the headlands you do not need to rotate the plow while turning.
- Following all these steps will make sure you do not create any tire impressions and ruin your field.
- Once you have finished plowing the entirety of the field you will be the proud owner of a well-plowed and aesthetically pleasing field.
Plowing The Perfect Field- Types Of Plows

We can practice plowing through 3 methods.
