Spotting a star in our real world may be easy and an awesome sight. However in Max’s world in Life is Strange it may require a few tricks up your sleeves to get a sight of the constellation or the Orion’s belt. This article will guide you on how to find the Saiph Star in Life is Strange: Double Exposure and the benefits of doing so.
How To Discover The Saiph Star In Life Is Strange: Double Exposure
Discovering the Saiph Star in Life is Strange: Double Exposure involves getting access to Moses’ lab, solving a small puzzle and finding a hidden camera. Let’s see how to go about doing each of these steps.
When the mission starts, Max is on the hunt for a camera that can prove Moses is innocent in the case of Safi’s murder.
- To discover the Saiph star, Max needs to find a way into Moses lab and it cannot be done while being in the Dead World. Shift into the Living World to get access to Moses lab. Remember to be stealthy while doing this so that the detective does not spot you.
- Once you make it into Moses lab while being in the Living world, start a conversation with Moses and take the conversation further where you discover he has hidden the camera in a safe under a star called Saiph (which is pronounced as safe), and the Saiph star is a part of Orion.
- Now shift into the Dead world and make your way to the loft using the stairs. Look around and you will see a bookshelf and a device called the ‘Star Projector’. This ‘Star Projector’ is the key to finding the Saiph star.
- On the opposite wall of the ‘Star Projector’, you will come across a sketch of two people side by side. Turn on the projector to see a constellation filled with stars and connected objects. You need to find an object that resembles the sketch of the two people and align it with the sketch on the wall.
- Once you align it properly Max will prompt with ‘I think it got it’, that’s when you go downstairs again and observe the constellation. Upon close inspection of the constellation, you shall find the ‘Saiph’ star somewhere near the bottom left side; which leads us to the camera.
What Happens After You Discover The Saiph Star
Congratulations upon completing your main task. But we’re guessing you’re not going to stop just yet. And rightfully so! Maybe you thought discovering the Saiph Star was just another time-wasting gameplay gimmick! Oh, let us tell you what a big help that was for Moses.
Once Max discovers the Saiph Star leading to the camera she pats her own back (we would too), suddenly detective McNosy a.k.a detective Alderman suddenly walks into the room while you are just inches away from the camera.
Try to be as sneaky as possible and retrieve the camera. You will need to find a distraction for the detective. So go ahead and use the shift point to enter the ‘Living World’. Then, spot the ornament from the Christmas tree that looks like a sausage with limbs, enter the Dead World by the Star Projector and place the ornament on the cabinet upstairs. Activate it to distract Detective Alderman.
You will see that he is trying to make his way upstairs. Once you see that, immediately shift into the Living World to escape him. Make your way downstairs and shift into the Dead World (since we found the camera in this timeline). A cutscene will follow showing Max near the vents pushing the trolley to distract the detective.
While this happens, Max wished that it would have been great if Moses had completed the telescope in this timeline. And as we all hope that wishes would come true, Max’s did indeed become true. There comes a gigantic telescope in the middle of the room very well distracting the detective. This is then your opportunity to sneakily grab the camera and make your way.
