Farming Simulator 25 has multiple ways in which you can earn money and feel like a real farmer. Beekeeping is one of these ways. Bees don’t need a huge investment and give you a steady income, which is a great way to balance the more high-investment work areas in the game. In this guide we have put up everything you need to know about bees and their products and benefits.
Why Are Beehives A Great Investment In Farming Simulator 25?
- You can make this a steady source of income without any labor-intensive tasks.
- Bees can pollinate your fields, thus increasing yield for you (especially for potatoes, canola, and sunflowers).
- You can spread as many beehives as you want throughout your map.
- They do not need water or to be fed like the other animals.
How To Set Up A Beehive In Farming Simulator 25
To set up your own beehives (bee ecosystem), head over to the build menu, go into animals and scroll through the list till you find bees. We recommend that you set up beehives near crops and fields. You will have to buy a ‘Beehive Honey Pallet’ and place it on the field.
Tips To Keep In Mind For Setting Up Beehives
- You can place beehives and honey pallets only on fields that you own.
- You can purchase only 1 Beehive Honey Pallet for your entire map.
- You can purchase as many beehives as you want and spread them around your fields, but all the honey will be generated at the Beehive Honey Pallet only.
Let us now look at what factors determine the success of a beehive in Farming Simulator 25.
Guide To Bees #1: Honey Production
Farming Simulator 25 offers straightforward gameplay when it comes to bees: the bigger the size, the higher the honey production, and the higher the revenue on selling these quantities. Also, all the beehives produce honey on their own.
After setting up your beehives and Beehive Honey pallet, wait a couple of in-game hours for the honey to spawn in the Beehive Honey Pallet. You do not need to provide any food to the bees to produce honey. They will visit your fields and feed themselves.
Guide To Bees #2: Selling Honey And Moving Pallets
- Once your Beehive Honey Pallet is full, sell the honey in the marketplace to the buyer of your choice.
- The price of honey may vary with change in months.
- Use a tractor to move around the honey pallets.
- You do not need a heavy-duty tractor for this, but make sure the tractor has the option for attaching front loaders since you will need to attach a pallet fork to it.
- Once your Beehive Honey Pallet is full, it is important to empty the pallet, for more honey production to resume.
Note: You cannot create dynamic pastures for bees.
